Class parties here have been few and far between. Jordan ended up having a small holiday party just before December break, so I jumped at a chance to bring a treat to share. We decided on graham crackers and a dessert dip. After school, I asked Jordan if his class had enjoyed the party and the treats. He told me there hadn't been very many treats. I asked if they liked what I brought. He said that they really liked the graham crackers and that someone had brought this really good "hummus". I was a little confused. I asked if they liked the dip I had brought, he said they didn't eat it?? He said they just dipped the graham crackers into that hummus that was SO good. Anyway, I was very confused. I don't think any of my kids knew what hummus was before we moved here and I couldn't believe they were gobbling hummus with graham crackers! After a little more confusion and questions on my part, I finally figured out that the "hummus" was the peanut butter dip I had sent! It probably was the best "hummus" they had ever had!
