A few of the week's highlights

We've entered the time of year where every day on the calender seems packed. While this makes me half-crazy, we've been able to fit in a lot of fun things. Here's a little from this week.

1. We were able to visit Trevor's parents for Easter. While we were there we got to visit Trevor's brother Steve, a fireman, at the fire station. The kids totally loved it and he did such a good job explaining everything. Steve and his wife, Ruth also had their first baby this week. That was definitely a highlight! Congratulations guys!

Checking out the fire engine

Steve let all the kids try on the gear. They had a lot of fun.

Jordan and Bryant checking out the fire engine cards Steve gave them.

2. The bunk beds are finished. The bed parts have been finished for a couple weeks, but they still needed to be stacked. Trevor and a friend got them put together this week. They look great and Bryant and Jordan are very happy. I think both of us are glad to be done with this project.

3. The kids have been busy. Abby had a soccer game. The girls got their dance costumes for the recital. They are cute and I know they're excited to dance in them. Abby and Brinly also ran in their school's marathon. It was cold and snowy, but they had fun.

I heard Abby and Brinly planning out how they were going to run together since the kindergartners lined up in front of the first grade. Their plans must have worked because they ended up running the first two laps holding hand. It was cute.

After the race. They were pretty proud of their medals.

Great pictures of the fire house! Tell Trevor the beds are gorgeous. Those girls are too cute - I love that they did the marathon together. Sisters rock.
