Both girls really wanted to have a friend party for their birthdays this year. April was busy and I didn't feel quite up to it. I did tell them they could have a play date later with a few of their friends. They were excited about it. I liked the idea of having fewer kids. They picked a rainbow theme. We had lunch, played one game, and made a craft. It was really fun! Here are some pictures: (some of them are cropped funny because I didn't want to post pictures of the other kids without permission!)

We had some colorful drinks and fruit and rainbow sandwiches. They also each got some crayons to color rainbows for the game: pin the pot of gold to the end of the rainbow. :o)
We did this right after Abby got done with her kindergarten circus so her face was still painted. They also made rainbow necklaces that I didn't get pictures of.
It turned out to be a really fun day!

I couldn't find your email address so I just had to respond to you on here. Maybe you could just delete it after you read it because it will be the worlds longest comment :) Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. Things have been total craziness around here and will contintue to be for the next little while. I am not sure when I will be able to get away to do pictures for you. I keep trying to schedule a time and then something comes up. We have tball, swimming lessons, my ten year reunion and we're ready to start our house. I thought our summer would be a little more relaxing, but its not starting out that way. Would it be okay if I checked back when things slowed down here a bit?
